10 – 14 June 2019, Vinca Nuclear Institute, in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) organized a regional workshop on the ways to enhance patient prevention and prevention of radiation skin injuries in interventional procedures by means of SAFRAD base.

During the workshop, 25 participants from 18 countries, together with the experts, through lectures and practices, worked on the development and implementation of methods for determining doses on the patients’ skin surface, methods for surveillance of patients with determined risk of skin injuries, as well as the techniques for prevention and optimization of practice in interventional procedures in radiology and cardiology.
