Sladjan Velinov, Director of Serbian Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security Directorate (SRBATOM), together with his associates, took the invitation of the Association of Milutin Milankovic and attended the two-day international conference to commemorate one hundred years since the publication of Milankovic’s theory on climate changes under the name of “Milankovic’s Theory on Climate Changes – Hundred Years Afterwards”, which was held on 04 November 2024 at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Belgrade.

The conference was held on the occasion of the International Day of Climate Change Action and it gathered more than 40 participants from 10 countries, including the leading experts in the field of climate changes, geophysics and other relevant fields with the aim of conducting further analysis and expansion of the theories developed by Milutin Milankovic in the context of modern-time climate change challenges.
