4-5 December 2019, Brussels, Belgium – Director of the Directorate participates in the 3rd Training & Tutoring Coordination Meeting carried out as part of Instrument for Nuclear Safety Cooperation and financed by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development (DG DEVCO). This meeting is an opportunity for the countries participating in the project to present their achievements in the area and to discuss future project activities.

The Instrument for Nuclear Safety Cooperation makes provisions for trainings of the human resources from the Republic of Serbia as well as for the financial resources amounting to 2 million euros. These are mainly used for raising safety levels at Vinca site by addressing the issue of liquid waste in “PC Nuclear Facilities of Serbia”, as well as the issue of a part of historic waste in “Vinca Institute of Nuclear Sciences”.
