Representative of the Environmental Protection Agency, appointed by Serbian Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security, took part in the regional workshop Recent Advances in Receptor Models for Source Identification and Apportionment of Air Particulate Matter, 20 – 24 May, in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
During the workshop, the experts from 17 countries had the opportunity to get to know the advanced statistical tools whose application can lead to better understanding of the cause of air pollution due to suspended particles PM10 and PM2.5.
Further activities in tool application, together with the air quality monitoring conducted within the national network, will facilitate plans to raise the air quality in general.
