The MIRA mobile autonomous gamma dose rate monitoring stations have been installed in Novi Sad, Vrsac, Zrenjanin and Becej.

These new stations comprising the new early warning system in case of a nuclear or radiological emergency are distributed in our country so as to enhance the coverage of the entire territory of Serbia commensurate with the existing risks.

Considering the fact that some of the surrounding countries have active nuclear power stations, and that the construction of new nuclear reactors in Hungary is underway, the installation of the new system which is now based on the overall of 33 stations will significantly improve the existing nuclear or radiological emergency warning system.
