Within the project of technical cooperation programme between the Republic of Serbia and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) titled as “Enhancing the Capacities of Educational Institutions for the Sustainable use of Nuclear Technologies 2022 – 2025”, Serbia received the donation of RayXpert dose calculation software used for Monte Carlosimulations and 3D modeling in the field of beta and gamma ray radiation. The software is used in the field of ionizing radiation dosimetry and is a good tool for higher education purposes in the field of medicinal and industrial applications of nuclear technologies.
Serbian Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security Directorate (SRBATOM) granted the licenses to the School of Electrical Engineering considering the fact that Prof. Dr. Koviljka Stankovic from this faculty gave the greatest contribution in terms of the participation of Serbia in this project relating to nuclear education.
Within this five-year license through the School of Electrical Engineering, this software tool will be available to the students of other higher education institutions as well.
