New generation of measuring stations in Valjevo, Loznica, Sabac, Kladovo and Veliko Gradiste
Highly compact and flexible MIRA gamma dose rate monitoring and measuring stations have been installed in Valjevo, Loznica, Sabac and Veliko Gradiste. At the same time, SARA measuring station which enables early detection of extremely low levels of artificial radioactivity in the environment and on-site isotope identification, has been placed in Kladovo.

Installation of 33 measuring stations within the state-of the-art early warning system of nuclear or radiological accident starts
During the last weekend, four early detection and remote monitoring stations were installed on the locations in Sid, Vinca, Kraljevo and Kopaonik. These are the first installed instruments within the intended state-of the-artearly warning system of a nuclear or radiological emergency which is based on 33 stations and which arrived in Serbia by the end of October this year.

At the invitation of the Government of the Republic of Srpska, Sladjan Velinov, Director of Serbian Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security Directorate, participated at the conference on climate changes under the name of “Climate Changes – Risks and Joint Action in the Region, 2023”, which was held today in Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).
