The activities during the two-day national table-top exercise, which was organized by Serbian Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security Directorate (SRBATOM), served to test the use of JRODOS Decision Support System (DSS) to formulate recommendations on protective actions to the decision makers in all phases of the emergency response.

Nuclear facilities are designed in such a manner that the earthquakes and other external events cannot impair their operation. In France, the nuclear power plants are designed to withstand an earthquake twice as strong as the 1000-year event calculated for each site.

The two-day national table-top exercise (TTX Serbia) that will be organized and conducted by Serbian Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security Directorate will be held on 08 and 09 February 2023 in Belgrade

Serbian Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security Directorate (SRBATOM) in cooperation with the city of Kraljevo and Color Media Communications continued “Zelena Srbija” project of tree planting on 15 December in Kraljevo. On this occasion, the trees of sycamore maple and birch were planted in Beranovac in Kraljevo.

Serbian Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security Directorate and the Faculty of Law in Belgrade signed the cooperation agreement.

Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), greeted today the participants at the online conference “Sustain Nuclear Safety” that has been organized by Serbian Radiation and Nuclear safety and Security (SRBATOM) for four years in a row now.

Serbian Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security Directorate (SRBATOM) organizes this year “Sustain Nuclear Safety” conference as a virtual event on 15 December 2022 under the name “Sustain Nuclear Safety 2022 – Conference on Uses of Radiation Sources and Nuclear Energy”.
