High representatives and experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) are visiting Serbian Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security Directorate (SRBATOM) and other stakeholder institutions in the Republic of Serbia this week.
This mission under the name of Regional Country-Level Evaluation and Audit (CLEA-R) of the Agency’s Work in Europe and Central Asia, which is organized by the Office of Internal Oversight Services (OIOS), is conducted with the main objective to evaluate and audit the success and results of the ongoing national projects in Serbia, and, thus help the IAEA to efficiently and effectively carry out its mandate and ensure accountability and sound governance.
In the following days, the high IAEA representatives are going to hold meetings with the national Project Counterparts (CPs) and visit the state institutions in the Republic of Serbia that are the users of national and regional projects in the field of nuclear medicine and whose implementation in the Republic of Serbia is supported by the IAEA.
